About Nuremberg
In 1219, a new emperor came to Nuremberg, Frederick ||. Nuremberg is now an Imperial Free City. In this time, Nuremberg made The Iron Maiden, an evil torture device which connected with the city.
A Religous Strife in 1298 led to an execution of about 700 Jews, whom were accused of not honouring their emperor. But, there was a motive that was hidden, which got the Jews out of their settlement. After that, Nuremberg created the City Market, Church of Our Lady and City Hall.
Nuremberg was in the middle of the German Renaissance in the 15th and 16th centuries. Some amazing events durng that time was the Reformation in 1525 and Peace of Nuremberg Treaty, which was signed in 1532.
In the 17th century, there was a creation of the Thirty Years War, and the Seige of Nuremberg in 1632.
