These are a few tips on how to set up your Clarinet
1. Put the reed in your mouth. The reed is in the picture shown on the left. Keep the reed in your mouth until you are done setting up your Clarinet.
2) Take the piece called the 'Bell', as shown in the picture above, and connect it to the 'Lower Joint'.
3) Next, what you need to do is get the 'Upper Joint' and connect that to the pieces already done. Make sure you put all the pieces on right side up.
4) After this you can take the 'Barrel Joint' and put it on the connected pieces. If you look closely, you'll see that one end is smaller than the other. Make sure the smaller end is facing up.
5) You then take your 'Mouth Piece' and connect it as well.
6) (This is where you take the reed out) Put the reed on the hole which is on the mouth piece, make sure that the wood levels with the top of the mouth piece.
7) Put the 'Ligature' onto the mouth piece, make sure the screws are on the same side as the Reed. Tighten the screws a bit, and you're ready to play!
